I-can is a test kit, which helps to detect pregnancy. Every woman is excited to know whether she has conceived or not. This I- can kit will help you to confirm pregnancy. Using i-can:

I-can pregnancy kit contains- one single use pregnancy detection strip, which contains 1 test device and 1 disposable dropper. You can perform this test as early as on the 6th day after having unprotected sex. However, in order to obtain best results, you should perform the I-can test on the day of the missed period or later. You should collect your first urine sample to perform this test.

The steps to do pregnancy test by using 'I-can' pregnancy kit:

Method I:

*  Collect the morning first urine sample in a clean dry container because it contains highest amount of hCG. Make sure that you collect the mid stream urine sample.

*  Now, with the help of the dropper place three drops of urine in the small aperture in the kit that this is marked as S.

*  You should add the next drop of urine when the previous drop is completely absorbed in the kit.

*  Leave the kit undisturbed for some time and check the results after 1 to 5 minutes. Do not read the results after 10 minutes.

If you do not want to collect your urine sample and wish to urinate on the test device directly, then please follow the second method.

Method II:

*  Hold the test kit in such a way that the small aperture, which is marked as S, is towards you.

*  Urinate on the sample region for 5 seconds for accuracy of time you can use a stopwatch.

*  Check your results after 1 to 5 minutes.

Test results:

Positive: If a dark pink or purple colored band appears near the control and test marking then it indicates that you are pregnant.

Negative: If there is no pink color band or a light pink band on the test region, it indicates that you are not pregnant.

If the color band does not appear on both the control and test region, we suggest you to repeat the test by using a new test device.

Tips for best results:

Take the test on the first day of your missed periods. If you take the test before the first day of your miss periods, it may show negative results due to low hCG levels.

Avoid drinking lots of water before taking the test because it dilutes the hCG levels in the urine and may give false negative results.

Avoid touching the absorbent area which is marked as T and C as it contains chemicals that helps to detect hCG.

Do not splash water on the kit before taking the test, make sure to keep it on a dry place.
